The girls ask alot of questions about when they were little. I have one memory that is one of my very faorite. Brianna wasn't even a week old , i think she was 5 days old and we went to spend friday night with gene and lynette. Brian was there and this was the first time he got to see her, she was wearing a purple sleeper with a white onesie. i remember him holding her while reading a book, i fell asleep on the floor. he never woke me up he just held her until i woke up she never cried. She was named after him and my sister brian and diane and we got brianna her middle name came from grandma charlotte. i can tell you one thing brianna loves to pick on brian i think she bonded with him that day. not to say that she favors any over the other but anyways this was something on my mind.
Danielle on the other hand loved to play tricks on me from day 1. She was suppose to be a boy. they told me the whole time she was a boy, so i bought blues greens and yellow sleepers. also to bring him "her" home in i had dress pants white shirt button down and a vest with a bear. lol so to my suprise when they reached her to me and said its a girl i knew she would be danielle .....from daniel in the lions den. and her middle name is carolyn after my mother...
i guess its just good to look back on the past.. i asked my dad about his first memory of me when i was born and he told me the first thing he did was went and bought a box of cigars for work that night and handed them out sayin "ITS A GIRL" i have always been a daddys girl always have always will................

Life
I have finally found an Internal Medicine Dr. This means i no longer have to deal with my family physician which in reality is no at thorough as she use to be. She has been my dr for 10 yrs but for the past couple of years she has slacked you could say. my wbc has been elevated for a month ,,,,a month,,,,,now keep in mind that i have been on antibotics (different ones) and steroids since may. So this is just my thinking but that would rule out an infection right. Well the drs are doing no test to see what is going on. Also she scheduled me to have a ERCP with 2 different drs. the same test with 2 different drs. to me this is just not right. So i am praying that this new dr will find whats wrong and help me i am in just so much pain lately i have no energy i sleep all the time and still have no energy. Please pray for me and my family.

being a mom
The most amazing part of my life is being a mom. I admire my mom more than any other woman on the face of the earth. She has taught me so many things, love , tenderness, kindness i could go on forever with the things she has taught me and still to this day i learn from her. The most amazing thing i have ever heard is my little girl say " mommy i want you " or " mommy i love you " with everything that has gone wrong in my life i knew i could always count on my mom to talk to , to cry with, or just sit in quietness. I pray i can be that kind of mom to my girls , always be there for them listen and guide them in the right direction. With GODS help i know i can. My girls are wonderful girls, i believe they have good manners (sometimes they need work but they are good ) they behave well in public for the most part. They dont give me trouble other than at home. but i have to say overall they are good kids and i am so proud of them. they are the reason i strive to do the best i can be is for them. My mom is my best friend i can tell her anything. But there is also another woman in my life that i admire also Lynette (riks mother) she has been there for me on countless occasions i consider her a close and dear friend also. because when i seek advice i ask 2 people my mom and lynette. they have always been there for me and i believe they always will. but 3 other mothers that i observe and learn from is my sister melissa, my sister n law melissa schindler and amy schindler they are amazing mothers and i love and admire then dearly.

Today i have felt GODS MERCIES. I know people are praying for me i can feel it and i thank you all for that. I am so blessed with family and friends that care so much about me. I love each and everyone of you. I reallly want each of you to know that you have touched my life in ways you will never know. I know GOD is with me HE shows me everyday how lucky i am with 2 beautiful healthy daughters and a husband who loves me and takes care of me. Which I thank GENE AND LYNETTE for , you have raised a wonderful man that you should be proud of. We have our differences but we have also learned to work through them, I know that GOD put me and rik together for a reason and i know that i love rik always have and always will. He is my one true love, my soul mate , my best friend. I have learned alot about myself in the last 5 years, some not so good but people change and i think i have changed for the better. To all my parkie family you have changed my life in ways unbelievable , you have helped me through tough times and have made me laugh in good times. I pray that everyone experiences GODS MERCIES the way i have lately. I have truly been blessed.
LOVE TO ALL

Have you talked to GOD?
I pray daily all day long seems like about something. Constant prayer right. Well i go to the dr tomorrow to find out the result of my blood work, the first part of the test showed that i may have lupus, anyone who really knows me knows that this freaks me out and i am a rack of nerves, panic attacks etc.... But i couldnt sleep the other day and i was on the porch talking to GOD and i heard softly 2corinthians 12:9 THis verse has taught me alot. It has taught me that i need to rely more on GOD and His Will than trying to fix things myself. There are just some things out of my control and i have to learn to let them go.

Have you seen GOD?
As i sat on the porch tonight i was reminded of something the preacher said today. Have you seen GOD, he went on to explain how people have seen GODS wrath and how some have seen GODS mercies.
People that know me knows the last 5 years have been very difficult for me and my family, this past week things just got a little more trying i should say. I was dxd with Lupus. I didnt know much about Lupus until i started reading online, lets just say i'm scared in the flesh, but know that GODS will shall be. He can heal me or he will provide me with the strength and courage i need to face whatever comes my way. I am not much of a blogger. i do keep my thoughts on paper but not so much for others to read, i have been known to write poetry a few times.
It just amazes me all the things i take for granted each and every day. Today i was reminded of some of these things i have been so caught up with the dxd's and the pain i was forgetting to thank GOD for the strength he has givin me to wake up and go to church today. AT my home church which is LITTLE SARAH OLD REGULAR BAPTIST CHURCH we had our foot washing which we do every year, we take the bread which represents Christ's body and the fruit of the vine which represents Christ's blood then the sisters of the church wash each others feet and the brothers of the church wash each others feet. Today my aunt Moni Sue who is very dear to my heart hugged me and said she wanted to be my first aunt to get to wash my feet . it was a blessing and a honor to wash all 3 of my aunts feet.
I just want to always remember that no matter what life deals me i can always count on someone who is always with me and that is my LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. i know that when i physically fall i can call my mom and dad but there is someone else that can do what mom and dad cannot. i have had the privillagge of washing my dads feet i pray that i live long enough to wash my moms feet. I know not everyone understands the ways of the ORB church but this was the way i was raised and i have never been more satisified than i am now. I joined the church i was raised in the Church i have heard my papaw's preach many times in. I miss them. And i know that through the power of prayer anything is possible miracles happen every day. So my question today is HAVE YOU SEEN GOD? i have ....i have seen his mercy he has let me live another day to teach my girls that the way to heaven is through jesus christ. and to always rely on him for he will never lead you wrong.

LIFES JOURNEYS
No matter what path in life you decide to take there will always be struggles and trials. I have learned that you just need to hand things over to the one who can handle them which is Jesus Christ, I would not be here today if that were not the case because i know that i could not have made it through the last 5 years without his help. I know i could not have done this on my own strength. My strength comes from someone stronger than me.
I am thankful for so many things in my life. A family that loves me, my daughters who are my world by the way, a husband i love dearly, and friends i can lean on in time of need.
LIFE
I have learned that with every passing moment in someones life tragedy hits, a prayer is answered, a miracle happens, and someone loves you. It floors me to think about this, I mean to know that someone lovess me at all times is just amazing to me. I know that this is not new to most people and that i am slow for just now picking up on this ... lol but i never claimed to be the sharpest or brightest crayon in the box lol.
I know that no matter what the people who truly love you will always be there for you with all you have to deal with. I have also learned that people you thought would be there wont be. Like the song says unsinkable ships sink....

Well needless to say my life has been interesting these past couple of weeks. TO start things off i was in the emergency room with my baby girl (she is 6 yrs old) danielle because she swallows a nickel. I called her ped at 11pm on a saturday night. She advised me it would be safer to go have her xrayed to make sure the nickle wasnt stuck in her throat so off we went. Sat for 4 hours just to find out it had already moved where it should be. Next thing that happened was this past weekend where we almost got flooded. Now people who know where i live can understand why i would be scared. When the river raises that high that fast it is pretty scary. But thank GOD we were spared from the floods. Now today i had to take bri to see drbailey evidentally i dont know how she did it but she pulled a muscle in her back. So she is on rest for the next week or so. Just her luck, love her heart. And for those who dont know she has her first cell phone i know people think she is only 10 and doesnt need a cell phone but think about it from my point. When you find out that they find a bullet at the school where your babies go and the school is in lockdown and you live within spitting distance of the school and dont know about it. I want her to be able to call me if something happens at school without having to wait for every other kid to use the phone and if she has her own cell phone then there you go she can call me. The thing is she has learned to text i know like mother like daughter. she burns that phone up by texting and listening to ring tones lol

just for fun
Amy tagged me in this game.
These are the rules:
1. Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on the computer
2. Select the 4th picture in the folder
3. Explain the picture
4. Tag 4 people to do the same
5. No cheating (cropping, editing, etc.)
Ok this one definatley needs explaining, lol. This was taken after a walkathon i organized for parkinsons disease, after the walk the Drifters performed a concert. my life as a parkie
In The Life of A Parkinson's Patient.
First let me start by saying, I have parkinsons it does not have me. Over the past four years i have
been dealt one disaster after another. The very fist thing that brought my world to a screaching holt
was on September 30th 2004. That day my life changed, I was diagnosed with parkinson's disease.
The girl i thought i was is no longer there. Before i was a quiet standoffish person. Now i am
completely different, i am someone who believes in what she stands for, and does not give up easy. I
believe that no matter what you should never settle for less than what you deserve, and i believe i
deserve the resources for a cure for parkinson's disease. I dont think it should be left up for just one
person to decide the lives of millions of people just like me that have to live their life day to day
because you don't know how your day will be. I know there are different disease that effects millions
of other people each day. What i would like to see is researchers being able to do what they have to in
order to find a cure for people with all diseases. My stand on Parkinson's is very dear to my heart, if
it had not been for being diagnosed i would have never have met all the people i have. I love every one
i have ever met through parkinson's . I want to be apart of something remarkable , I pray that in my
lifetime there will be a cure, so my children nieces and nephew even my future grandchildren will not
have to hear the dreaded words "I am sorry but it is my concern you have parkinson's disease." My life
is committed to raising awareness for this disease and all others that are life threatning to another
human life. There have been so many people who have touched my life within the last 4 years, it is
impossible to name them all. Chad was the first person who i talked to that had parkinson's. To me
he is my hero in this fight we fight everyday. He is also the one who actually got me started in this
fight. He told me that i could join this army and fight the fight with confidence or just sit on my butt
feeling sorry for myself. Mike is another dear friend , i had hit my lowest point after being dxd just a
few months later i stumbled upon a chatroom which was a support system for people with parkinsons,
called ParkieJam. That night without Mike knowing he kept me from doing the unthinkable. I
thought my kids my husband and my family would be better off without me being a burden to them.
Mike taught me a valuable lesson , that no matter what life deals you your family needs you more
than you know. That is so true even though i feel as i am a burden to them, when i look at my girls i
know that i have to do this. So they don't have to face this. I know now im not alone in this fight i
have alot of family friends that care and would do anything to help me. Another person who has
impacted my life in the parkinsons community is Carol, she showed me that no matter what no matter
what life throws at you. You can come out of it gracefull and shining as bright as the stars in the sky.
Like i said "I have parkinon's it does not have me." My mom has showed me that no matter what your
kids go through, your mom is always there for you, to pick you up when you fall (literally). The
support of my community has been overwhelming and gives me hope.

life and death
With new life there comes death. Happy times bring sadness. I dont know how to deal with the loss that happened to me personaly 4 years ago today. I lost a son before he had a chance to even begin his life it was over it haunts me to this day what could i have done different if i stopped my meds for parkinsons would that have saved him. Gods plans are greater than mine and i have to have faith and believe in what he has in store for me . I was only 20 weeks pregnant but was told it was a boy and i named him Samuel Richard, a few days later i lost him. i have not gotten over this and pray it gets easier to deal with but he will always be a part of my and a piece of me is missing. i never got to hold him never got to say goodbye maybe this is why its so hard.

Brohters Graduation
I am so proud of my brother. He is a husband of a wonderful woman, a father of 3 beautiful children ty sarah, and jacob. The most impressive part of my brother is that on top of a full time job he is also a preacher at Hope Freewill Baptist Church, and if that is not enough he has put his self through school he just graduated with his masters in counseling. I am truly impressed he is such an inspiration to me. I just want him to know im so proud of him.
